It's a stripped-down Opel T1 that got 376 MPG in a 1973 competition. It accomplished this feat by vaporizing the fuel before it entered the engine, a method similar to those found in the book I mentioned. If the car weren't stripped down, it would still probably get more than 100 mpg.
