A relatively inexpensive Harbor Freight compressor works fine with an inverter. My 3 gallon compressor and 1KW inverter to run it was about $120 total. I don't use it for a horn. I use it for spudding. It gives me air while away from a regular outlet. Due to space, weight and power limitations on a lawn mower, may I recommend a simple storage tank and fill it from a shop compressor instead?

Air horn on a lawnmower.. Rednecks..

a storage tank might work but if im in the middle of the street how am i gonna fill it???

the compressor im might get is obviously 12v, has a storage tank and compressor with it, for 158 bucks

put it right on my mower, compressor on the side of the tractor

i got a huge battery, plus its only 12v, i have a power lead i put on, i could solder a branch on to it

In other news today, I fired Thorondor a good bit for the first time in months. I forgot how sweet it was. Sort of felt like this:

Protip MrC, type noko in the email field, returns you to the thread you post. Or download the 4chan addon for Firefox/Chrome if you intend to use 4chan more.

I'm actually surprised they didn't flame you for not getting proper firearms, if the thread's still there tomorrow I'll bump it for you. With some content naturally.

Did I do bad internets? It's not like I'm going to visit those sites ever again, just signed up to post

Anyone recommend any good WW2 books? Just finished Stalingrad and Crete by Antony Beevor this month as I had them lying around, would prefer something more akin to Cornelius Ryan's books or bio's like Albert Speer's works (haven't read Spandau: The Secret Diaries, though).

Already read Beevor's book on Berlin and all the Stephen Ambrose books but not much else. I hear the books that were used for HBO's The Pacific are decent but I prefer the European theatre although I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Thin Red Line.

For JSR this post must be equivalent to shining the batman symbol in the sky but just to be sure:

Don't read books much these days. When you're reading a book, you don't have much choice but to read the book. I'm more likely to be machining (as we speak ;)) with uploads like thesein the background.
