I always liked this one. They did not expect this result. This is a spray and pray with gasoline.

Live technical seminar on the Higgs bosons research findings can be viewed here:
http://webcast.web.cern.ch/webcast/
Live twitter feed from NewScientist:
http://www.newscientist.com/blogs/short ... higgs.html
I don't understand much, just enough of the basics to interpret the main findings of their research.
Edit: I'm up at 3am for this. Apart from the research I find it fascinating how new scientific finds will be released and how people from all over the world can have live access to these research seminars.

One would think there are far more likely scenarios that could wipe out the earth than the LHC.
To be honest, if the LHC caused a black hole, which it wont, I wouldn't really care. Don't think anyone would, it's not likely anyone will be alive to complain.
Videos like this kept me company last night.
Edit:
Damn, anyone heard of this kid before?

you know I guess that's why they set up a site that tells you whether the world has been destroyed or not...To be honest, if the LHC caused a black hole, which it wont, I wouldn't really care. Don't think anyone would, it's not likely anyone will be alive to complain

The "you're not very fúcking funny are you?" segment and the last "schpending thime with my fhamily" segment are two of my all-time favourites
Damn, anyone heard of this kid before?
Bloody hell!
That's most of us, why don't we get similar jobs :knob:At age 10, he built his first bomb out of a pill bottle and household chemicals

As of last night, same here. It's ridiculous how often one can watch the same David Mitchell rants.jackssmirkingrevenge wrote:The "you're not very fúcking funny are you?" segment and the last "schpending thime with my fhamily" segment are two of my all-time favourites
My top three favourite Would I Lie To You moments for David Mitchell (in no order):

Mmmmhh Keeley Hawes
I'm sure I've forgotten some, maybe I'll start re-watching the episodes.

Not forgetting the nutty Russians:

The sausage roll, tea temperature, posh animals and conservative rap rants from WILTY are also gold.
And speaking of Kevin Bridges:
