Hybrid ThorJack
This is my first hybrid, it is a lot advanced, all calculations are made, meter room and finished ignition systems also finished, I have to make the handle with a piezo BBQ and arrange things a little .. .
This hybrid is named ThorJack, Jack is Jackssmirkingrevenge to thank for his help in the calculations of the meter and other advice
features:
Mix40-max
BBQ piezo-ignition
-Caliber: 12.7mm rifled PN - .50 - The gun is mounted on a RR to put a burst disc
-All connections are HP
- The room is a bottle of paintball
- Special Meter as it disconnects from the hybrid after this one pressurized, so I have a bigger shooting comfort
Here is where I am:
Of course it's the mano for the picture! I ordered the specific ...
Soon the tests with video of course, tests of very far!
Your Opinion?

Wow... you really don't waste time
That looks fantastic, good luck with the tests! And I am truly honoured about the name let's hope that doesn't curse it and it stays in one piece

I have thought about using a paintball tank as a hybrid chamber, but the ignition spot was a problem. Is it safe to drill a hole on a paintball tank and continue use it? On the bottles label says to not drill any holes on the bottle.

a hole that is 1/8 in which is screwed a steel high-pressure connection.
On all pressure tanks it is marked "not to drill and not to impact" paintball cylinders have much impact ...
But we must be prudent so testing at a safe distance
Do you think my BBQ will be powerful enough to Mix40?

It is one of the smaller ones, not a 0.8lThat paintballtank looks so small!!
So anything that doesn't have such a label is Ok to drill holes in ?On the bottles label says to not drill any holes on the bottle.
The hole in the tank will reduce its max pressure, however it should still be pretty high and fine for most applications. 40x mixes might be pushing it, I guess we'll soon find out

I managed 16-17x with a cigarette lighter piezo. BBQ piezos are bigger and presumably have more "vavavoom" but I doubt they would be good for 40x.
As I said before though, I'm pretty sure that 15-20x will be more than enough power, especially compared to the pneumatics you are used to
