thank !
Holy shit!
2 hours in the sun to try to get a shot at MIX10! and NOTHING!
I tested everything, Air BP before, otherwise, ignition cylinder, direct and son by anything ...
I withdraw the chamber, I look if the piezo walk and it works good I ever did three tests and still nothing ....
I imagine it is not a piezo rabbit poop!
I buy from a flash kodac, chocolate and canada dry!
I really balls ...
Notice the order of mixing:
When I purgeais the chamber, the smell of butane was stronger when I put this one first ...

I knew you'd mention your favourite website.even if your problem is an unsatisfied partner, if copulatingmachines.com is anything to go by
you're predictable
yeahdamn man, you really do work fast lol
Did you include the volume of tubing in your calculations ?When I purged the chamber, the smell of butane was stronger when I put this one first
Did you purge the tubing ?

Oh noes... troubleshooting time.
- are you sure youre getting good spark even when it is set up (meaning there are no grounding problems)?
- is your spark gap 1mm or less? With a low energy piezo this is essential.
- are you sure the disk material you are using will burst at the pressure which the ignition will generate? I found it's very possible to have the mix ignite and the disks to remain intact if too strong.
- are you sure the chamber is 100% airtight? Even a slight leak (from the burst disk for example) can be enough to throw your mix off.

I removed the chamber and the spark was done but in my opinion not to MIX10 ...
my spacing is 1 mm
I tested the disc under 40bar! all sealed, and the manometer not drop. Whenever I have purged the chamber it was unburned gas.
I tested under 50bar chamber, it is waterproof
I think it comes from the BBQ too weak to MIX10

Can you make it smaller? I usually make it less than 0.5mm, and with a cigarette lighter piezo I can ignite up to 16-17x, so if you're getting good spark I don't think this is your problem.Petitlu wrote:my spacing is 1 mm
Did you calculate the volumes accurately? Propane and butane have a notoriously narrow ignition range in terms of percentage concetration so the correct mix is crucial.

can you try a lower mix, like 2x?
