haha nice!
So that went through two layers of 2mm steel before ricocheting off the 8mm steel beam, yes?
It's clear that yes, the fin is flying straight and true. Still too damn quiet though hehe

Probably because the box section kept the projectile steady.Petitlu wrote:yes it passed through the 2 layers!
impact on the steel beam is more profound than the first test!
The impact mark is similar to the one from my test.
the only explanation I can think of is the low C:B ratio...noise is a mystery!

Through the C:B ratio, this thing should have a simular noise of a .50, as he uses a .50 rifle barrel...

Using a 50 calibre barrel has no bearing on the noise - besides for this shot he used a 12mm smoothbore.wyz2285 wrote:Through the C:B ratio, this thing should have a simular noise of a .50, as he uses a .50 rifle barrel...
Hydrogen has a much wider ignition range in terms of percentage concentration, which makes it easier to use but also easier to have an accident with. Also, you can't get significant mixes with hydrogen at atmospheric pressure. Why do you think H2 dangerous?
