chambers in the UK is a good bet.

They have some expensive Lothar Walther blanks:

... and cheaper spares for budget airguns, for example:

Barrel .22

Price: £17.45
Not bad...

I know him, I'm one of his subscribers. I'm only here thanks to him, he was the only one that had helped me in the beginning, also thanks to him I met spudfiles. But unfortunately he isn't active anymore. He also has or had a web site called klugboys I think ...

I fit an LW blank in .177 to my QB79 a couple weeks ago...it is now putting JSB exact heavys through virtually the same hole @ 25m...worth EVERY penny IMO. 8)

Thanks Jack

I hadn't planned on putting a regulator there but would it be worth it? i've found a few paintball regs on ebay for under $30

For pressure yeah i think about 600psi with a fridge compressor.

Thanks for completely dumbing it down i understand it now.

and again i appreciate the help

For us who have the pennies to spare ;) I think wyz is on a slightly tighter budget though...

Without a regulator, every shot is going to be slightly less powerful than the previous one. If long range accuracy is important, consistency is certainly something you should be looking at (plus a host of other things which we can go into if necessary).

If however you're interested in a bit of plinking in your back yard at tin cans 25 yards away, not really worth the bother.

Be careful, most of the cheap ones like this are designed for a 3000 psi input/800 psi output, so not useful in your case.

If you're going with a small chamber, I wouldn't bother. What would concern me is making sure that all the fittings can take the full 600 psi.

An alternative is to use something like this that maxes out at 150 psi, and use a bigger chamber (say 25-30mL) to keep power at a decent level. This will give you at least 10 consistent shots from a main chamber fill.

No worries, we all had a leg up somewhere along the line ;)

Well, for once a life time( at least I won't have this opportunity in the next few years) build... Making the gun won't cost me any, so all my investment will be on the barrel

Ouch... that's not good. I have one but haven't tried it yet. How exactly did it break? And how much psi were you feeding into it?
