hey, I was just wondering ummm, does the mortar launcher on the botom of the gun run off the CO2 from the tank also? and if it does, then how far can it launch something? ;like how to you shoot it? i don't really see a valve at all. And last, is the barrel that the mortar launcher barrel metal????

It looks like there are 2 co2 lines running from the tank. One for the gun, and another for the 203. The 203 is fired via a sprinkler valve, and it looks pneumaticly modded from what i can tell. It probably fires via a blowgun.

wait a minute the xm148 is just the grenade lobber right
so the pic i have poted is a car 15 with the xm148 grenade launcher strapped on or do you just call that a xm148 as the hole package with the car 15 on it. yer i can now see a preety big difference between them. the xm148 evolved into the m203 if im not mistaken
sorry about that should have done my research

yes, the XM148 became the M203 after R&D and such, the xm-148 was much worse than the 203, from what i can see of the xm148 it seems it would be easy to accidentally discharge, i've held an m16 with an m203 on it, and theres a safety lever that comes down and blocks someone from putting their hand in the trigger of the 203. and from what i can see that is an M4, not a car-15 scary that a 14yr old knows all of this eh?
