Now I will tell you how to build a mini spud gun like mine. First you will need:
• 2 pen tubes(keep the ink holder for a loader)
• a camera film canister
• a 4 inch pill bottle with cap on
• long nose lighter igniter (lighter disassembly here http://www.advancedspuds.com/lighter.htm)
• 2 thumb tacks
• duct tape or electrical tape
• Axe or other aerosol propellants like static guard, hairspray, etc.
• potatoes
First take the film canister and cut out a hole in the center about 1 cm. round. Then take the two pen tubes and tape them together really tight. Then take a long strip of tape and rip it in half. Wrap the tape around the end of the pen tubes until it fits into the hole you made. Stick that into the hole you made so half the tape is still sticking out. Then take a whole piece of tape and wrap it around from the top of the film canister over the tape to the pen tube. Then make an oval shaped hole in the pill bottle that fits the film canister (if you have to wrap some tape around the canister). Then tape the canister to the pill bottle. Now it's time to install the igniter. For disassembly instructions look above. After you have the igniter, wrap the end of the wires around the thumb tacks. Push the thumb tacks into the bottle at an angle so that there are space in-between them.

Now tape the igniter to the bottle so the pusher part is facing the cap. Tape the wires down to the bottle and you are done. Now all you have to do is load in a potato, load it down as far as it can go with the ink holder, spray a tiny bit of aerosol in it and fire! Do not spray a lot in it or it will not fire. If it doesn’t fire open the cap, blow in it very softly for a split second and recap it. Wait another 5 secs. and fire. Repeat process until gun fires.[img]

that's the same, the question is whether a combustion or pneumatic is stronger, and that depends on the type of gas and/or pressure you use.

Pneumatics are easiers and safer i think. At least safer on the back side of the barrel :)

erm i`ve read the thing but don`t quite understand the pneumatic thing. each time i "reload" i can only fire once ? is that it ? then i have to "reload" it again ? or can i just keep firing after each "reload" session ? the web didn`t say anything bout it ..

on a pneumatic you would pump up your chamber with air using either a compressor or a bike pump, then load your ammo down the barrell. it could be anything that you shoot, a paintball potato, piece of wood. then you open your valve and the gun shoots. you then close the valve and repeat the process
in the upcoming presidential election, there will be several candidates who will be running, one of whom is Hillary Clinton. Now WAIT A SECOND!!! I though there was some sort of rule that prevented someone from serving more than two terms in office. Vote Against Hillary: Presidential Elections 08

you can make semi-auto pneumatics and even full auto.an air compressor is a small engine around 2HP that produces alot of air depending on the size of your air compressor, the air compressor usally has a air tank to "store" air while you fill it up so you can release the air faster and more powerful and you can have a continuos(sp?) air supply so you can have a semi-auto gun,use the search button on this site and search "semi-auto" under "pneumatic cannon showcase"

They go around maybe 20 feet shooting a Q tip. Not that far, but if you use something heavier than a Q tip it will go further.

a air compressor is a (I bet you cant guess) pump and motor, sometimes hooked up to a tank, that compresses air. my explanation is not very clear, so check the wiki.
