Hello again,
I have been out of the hobby for awhile now with a new hobby taking most of my time. but I blew the cobwebs off the old potato gun and I wanted to finally show you all now that it is done. I really don't remember all of the specs right off hand but if anybody has questions I will remeasure it if needed. but the pictures should answer most of the questions.
Also included is a foot long dart I welded up for it.
Marcus
Pictures of my potato gun finally finished and tested.

Nice build. A smaller lighter piston can be used for faster operation. I presume the small chamber parallel to the main chamber is used for seating the piston. I used a barrel plug to temporally block the barrel to pre charge the chamber to about 5 PSI. When the plug is removed, that set the piston seal. That style is difficult to get to make the initial seal so it can be filled with air, especially if charged into the chamber instead of the pilot. My barrel centering supports were placed further from the breech of the barrel to reduce turbulence in this critical flow area.

Like the folding stand. 8)
Why the small chamber? Having trouble getting an initial seal?
Bonus points for keeping the screws away from the edge.

Sorry it took so long to get back. I have been really busy at work.
Yes the small chamber is there to help with the chamber seal. Sadly however I never had used the dart, I'm saving it for when I have a better target.
