I have a few from Jake's hand, and i'm finishing one as we speak.
They're the best knives i've owned for things like woodcarving, making food, etc.
Nothing beats a good scandi grind
Not to mention that they look very nice hehe

yeah, I'm not even nearly as patient to lab to polish a blade like that I'd just get sanding belts to 1000grit

Spend the whole day making a new knife, and my hands look/feel like it. All started when i found a pic of nice chopping knife from the internet and realized that i got a piece of steel for that.
When i got home and checked the piece, i realized that its 13mm thick... Thought what the heck and grinded a blank with an angle grinder. Then went to my friend Tonis shop to forge a blade from it as my forge is not finished yet. The result is something brutally brutal, heavy, scary, bigass chopper.
Oh, and this one IS for sale. Going to have a leather shieth and paracord wrapped handle. Still needs to be heat treated, sharpened, polished...
Heres some pics
heating it, took quite bit of time
Starts to get hot!
Checking the thickness, needs some straightening
Forged and rough grinded
THICK!
Holding it
What ya think?

Yeah i have, just that if i make swords, id like to make those that can cut you from head to ballz with one slash
Nah, i couldn't make those tiny swords, all the small details in true sized would be even smaller...
