Here is my set up thus far. I'd managed to build a sweet ball feed and get it all aligned adheared! Then on the first test fire in my excitement I left the breech open.... As I'd not long finished some last minute sanding I got a puff off saw dust in the face  So it shat on my precise double sided tape application :? So Its kinda back to the drawing board although I have it nutted I just got impatient..
I have extensively test fired the qev+barrel set up at 200psi> Also leaving the breech open just to see how it holds up. Hell I even plugged the barrel up for the most part.. ie ball jam.. I'm pretty happy to put my face near it :)[/img]
UPDATE: Just zeroed scope  and cranked out some 240/260psi "punishment" shots  All shots at 10m outside :D

Building another stock and barrel same shape stock. The new barrel will have spring loaded 9bb mag feed with a bolt above the grip.

This was the ball feed system. Nylon chopping board with small hole for bb attached to slide cover. As it breech alignsthe megnet pulls Bob up and slightly forward.. works effortlessly when I had it right. Re_working now for final! Build

1st shot went in not through. Then put some weigh in the bottom and made this nice speed hole 1st nd 2nd straight through 3rd was only 120psi, you can just make out the crack it made on rear

5shots each at 200psi, the left low target I was messing around with the windage.. If I got comfortable and relaxed its just ball on ball.. driving them home.. extatic!

Already on it. Will be using most of next arrow as as it is it only 790mm long. The way I have the tip was for application of shoooosher :D
I got this far fudged a few things and got frustrated and totally shat on it! Just put it together to get some shots off (sick of building) I made a jig for most of the cuts so just a matter of materials.

Very nice build. The quality of the exterior is really nice.8)
What caliber?
I've been using arrows for Airsoft sniper barrels, and they work quite well.

Exactly what I've been using, except the outer barrel is PVC. Are you planning to play airsoft with this?
If so how are you planning to deal with the airtank?

A very clean build! well done, it looks great, I really like the way you created the housing for it too, a lot of people low on budget could learn quite a lot from this build.

Cheers cammdy. That was the idea behind the build. Have a fully functioning gun, keep cost low, safety as high as possible and some thing most dumb asses can build with basic hand and power tools (dremel, jigsaw, bench grinder, hacksaw, drill and router)
Like I have never extensively used a router before, seen it done plenty of times so... most of it was by eye  no real measurements to start lol of course I used the guides and depth gauge. It actually poppped together seem less the first time  only wonky fittings saw the need for re-working.
Having test fired this I'll leave it this length plus silencer as it intended use was just a hallway plinker -10m, even though its capable of much more than that. I have built Bb trap out of a box filled with towels and cut a price of thick foam that seals back of box. Even at 200psi 10m its 100% effective, just shake the first sometimes second towel out in the box and collect with magnet  I make my own shoot"n"see as well using the fluro backing paper, contact or clear packinging tape cover entire area then $3 spray paint. Making squares with bulls eyes or cut out birdy or rat shapes.. or a nice sillouette of your old boss, endless really :D
WARNING I do not recomened shooting indoors to anybody! I do it in a well controled/setup environment. I take no responsibility if anyone makes anything I have mentioned and it fails. I test all of my work/bulids outside and by remote.

If I ever foung somewhere to play airsoft (Australia) I'd just put tank in a hydro back pack. As it is with only being safely able to take the tank to 220ish psi and getting only about 6 half decent shots off, drops about 40psi then I re fill with a few pumps. I like to stay between 220 and 180psi.
I'm looking into a paintball tank either on board or remote. For now I'll only be able to get that to 300psi reg'd to 200psi per shot...? So hopefully that might give me a few more consistant shots.
Also I'm pretty sure according to my geographical positioning, how and where I deal with my tank would be the very least of my concerns..

Too bad you can't play where you live. It's a very fun game.
I guess if its just for having fun plinking, you won't have to worry about the tank. :D

I know I'm DROOLING to have a go! (Slightly millitant) Funny I grew up in a hippy environment. Although war... any war, every war is pretty much a shame full abomination the fascination and the fact I love a good dose of adrenilin... POW POW!
Thinking of a pick New Zealand holiday..
EDIT: In no way do I mean any soldier fighting or having fought in any war, current or past should feel or be ashamed of his or her role.

Lol, yeah, well. I live in Texas, so I don't have the restrictions you do. Lovely game, and adrenaline? Wow. Nothing like knowing that if you make a mistake, its going to hurt like hell.

I was thinking maybe more of a rush popping you head up under heavy cover fire nd double tapping in it in the collar bone lol.... dream a dream..
Although goign down in a hail is the very real option.

wow ,good job and clean build .

you got very nice accuracy for smooth bore barrel, so it must be the ammo.

can you give me a picture for the ammo because i have no idea how it look like.

:) :)

Just using 6mm slingshot ammo by huntsman or marskman (I threw the box away) They are pretty crap If you ask me, soft and they seem corrode easily ( not sure that's how its spelt)
I have ordered 1000 chrome steel ball from a local supplier... industrial grade. Those I have shot through wood, metal and Bb on Bb in my Bb trap without flatspoting. If I'm using bb trap I can re-use 99% The fact the albeit smooth bore is plumb bob straight and I happen to be a pretty mean shot. So once its zero ed 8)
