Ya you should really try to use the intended voltage I hooked up an electric car motor to several 9volt batteries lol it was quite a show the wires almost instantly melted and made quite a mess, and a solid mass of copper
It probably isn't good for the motor but the wires haven't melted yet and I only run it for a couple seconds at most.
I also did that to my car that runs on a 6.2V battery. I put in 3 9Vs and it went really fast then fried the receiver so it kept going down my street but I caught up when it went on someone's lawn.

Thats the reciever that fried because the components of the board cant handle much more power than it was intended for. But the motor itself can handle that 9v just fine. I wouldn't reccomend doing any more than 2 9v's for more than say 30 secs.

how about we dont use the wrong voltage and use the intended voltage, will save you alot of cash and time. and if you want to use the wrong voltage you must be retarded.

but in the long run it would cost you more so it would end up being cheaper buying a decent motor. god just fork out a bit more cash, you can get a brushless motor with speed controller off ebay for AUS$35 and the exact same model and everything at my local rc place is AUS$150

You have actual pics or plans on how this works, cause im kinda of confused. Do the BBs drop in the top and land in the middle of the "Bow Tie" or land on a paddle when its spinning?
