Not the only danger out there.
Perhaps Orwell writing about Kipling put it better:
Maybe when the machines take over...He sees clearly that men can only be highly civilized while other men, inevitably less civilized, are there to guard and feed them.
This is why I was happy with my last Russian girlfriend, I got to avoid the social stigma of being single while the fact that we were in different time zones most of the year meant I could still do whatever the heck I wanted.I guess this came across as odd initially but when you think about it our society does tend to place a lot of weight on a relationship and once you get to a certain age you're supposed to be in one.
It wears off though, now I'm properly single and it's fine Alone and lonely are two different things, and a few beers with a friend in a long term relationship are enough to remind you that the grass on the other side is not as green as you imagined.
I still stick to my guns on what I've said before about there being bad people in general and that not only are there male equivalents of these types of women but there are also other 'bad' types of people and we may not necessarily identify the female's male equivalent (if we're heterosexual). While I don't think I could find a guy quite like some of the girls I wish I never had the pleasure of meeting, I don't doubt that girls have found some guys equally displeasing.
I think that's a fair view in isolation, however my experience has been quite consistent...
Also a fair assessment. I actually go for girls which exhibit the despicable feminine traits I am constantantly whining about. I have to say though that my experience with women as friends or colleagues for whom I felt no attraction whatsoever has been similarly disappointing.Maybe I'm still in a bit of a fantasy world, holding out hope, but I'm confident in my assessment*. Mainly because although the particular type of personality I prefer in a girl is relatively rare, I have come across it often enough.
*Naturally, guys have different tastes. If the type of girl you're looking for has a prevalence similar to that of ALS, I can see why one would lose hope pretty quickly.
A departure from my usual girly tastes, I actually dated a "radical feminist" for a couple of weeks the last time I was in Spain. Angry, viscous, short haired, t-shirts with slogans, posters in her room, the works. At the end of the day she just wanted to be cuddled and was as docile as a lamb. I was blunt about my views, vandalised the "girl power" postcards on her fridge with crudely drawn cocks, and she was crazy about me.
I hate to say it, but they're all the same.
It's not fair to generalise, but the fact that Psychology and Psychiatry are recognised scientific fields means that there *are* broad similarities between groups of people and their associated behaviour.
The day people with that mentality post videos online of themselves defecating from various angles after a night of curry will be the day their views can be accepted.I think people here tend to have the thought process of 'nothing to hide, nothing to fear' and so it wont ever get the same level of opposition.
MrC will attack me for this but I will reduce it in basic evolutionary terms - a man rough enough to be able to protect you is unlikely to be civilised. Who is going kill the tiger that is stalking you, the guy scratching his arse with his spear, or the one sniffing flowers? The thing is that most men find feminists repelling whereas women (even educated and decent (lol decent women who needs a decent woman ?)) are naturally attracted to the most baddas and egoistic men who treat them like crap
That being said, studies suggest that women go for these "badass" men while they are fertile and more effeminate men when they aren't. I once did a little experiment timing my behaviour and facial hair according to a girlfriend's cycle... from my subjective viewpoint, it seemed to work
