Hey Freak,
Did you intend for that comment to be as snarky as it sounds?

The people who would smash a $30,000 chunk of steel into an oncoming $30,000 chunk of steel full of human beings to avoid a squirrel will not vote for such a person. Thus NY will not vote for such a person.

Good ole Jack and I crack jokes back and forth quite frequently... I'm pretty sure he knows I don't have any bad intentions. Plus, based on jack's general conduct on the forum I highly doubt that a "snarky" comment from a 17 year old is likely to get to him...

The jokes probably stemmed from me joining the forum when I was only 14... So for some reason he started cracking the homosexual jokes and it was all downhill from there :D

It's all friendly banter :)

For no other reason than your staunch anti-hybrid stance ;)

Oh please, I hadn't developed my anti-hybrid views until quite a while after your line of jokes began :P

German gun camera footage from the second world war:

The segment that starts at 5:18 remains one of the most dramatic pieces of footage I have ever seen. As the 110 approaches the bomber from below you can clearly see the ball and rear turrets of the B-17 firing at it, but after a few concentrated bursts to the fuselage, nada, no return fire and the waist guns hang in their mountings pointing skyward, as they would if they are not being held:

Image

The B-17 doesn't burst into flames or fall apart, but it's quite evident that everyone on board is either dead or dying. A sad end for a group of brave young men.

Bit hard to make out your observation on the ball turret returning fire, but that last bit was painfully obvious. Good find. Sad find.
