I must be the only 20 year old I know without a camera or smartphone... The only thing I have is my laptop webcam and there's no way I'm taking a selfie with my near-complete hybrid :lol:

I created a g+ group on silent air compressors -> https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities ... 9056491920

Would be nice if someone could share their videos of them in use. Would make one myself but my 40 bar gauge is broken and the other is just 10 bar so not really that impressive.

Hardly a bargain at $11,900 US, but IMO impressive technology.

Bought myself a little Gamo 640 in .22 (hears the airgun purists cry), and I must say, after having it in my hands for all of 6 hours, I'm a convert. Remembering some post from Gippeto at some point, I started having good followthrough, and it helped my groupings massively. Down to around 1" groups at 20 yards with the cheapest pellets I can find. Will try some other pellets.

And I'm definitely buying more air rifles, these are far more fun than even .22s

Velocity, I have a nice little Tikka T3 Lite for those sort of pellets. But for the price of 20 PPU .308s, I can buy 1000 .22 pellets and lunch

No Weihrauch or Air Arms down under then?

Ah well, cheap and cheerful is fine too I guess ;)

F***ing awesome actually, considering low velocity.

On another note, I wonder what this will look like in ten years time?

A HW97 is on my maximum want list now, but I wanted a cheap "I don't give 0.3 metric fucks about this" gun. Besides, I can't afford a secondhand one, this rifle was secondhand and was pushing it for me.

Besides, this gave me a love for them already, if I like a Gamo then I'll love a decent one.

Clucking bell, quality rifles are expensive in Aus!
