I recently started showcasing my cannons on youtube. I would love it if I could get some critique on my video. Thanks!

you could attach mounts for flashlight, for night vision.
As about the pengun..it looks cool. The power needs to be more consistent for lead pellets...

Good editing and all. Some people hate music in videos, but I guess it's not that bad.
Overall it's very good. Put it as a video instructable and make a how to on it and you can expect large number of views each day.

I think you need more info on how it works. At least a glimps of the internals would give the noobs of the world some idea of how it works. Or even a link to other short "How it works" videos could help make your YouTube channel more multifaceted.
Us nerds need some technical info to keep us interested. Just my 2 cents.

For commercial purposes, showing how it works is counter-productiveBoomer58cal wrote:I think you need more info on how it works. At least a glimps of the internals would give the noobs of the world some idea of how it works.
You need a better sabot, a lead pellet is far too heavy.
Have you thought of using aluminium foil? Have a look at this how-to I had made: http://www.spudfiles.com/how-to-databas ... 23677.html

Most of the time when you're marketing something commercially you have a patent to protect you. I think most of us who build their own toys wouldn't buy something of this nature anyhow, but I'm sure you are right nonetheless.jackssmirkingrevenge wrote:For commercial purposes, showing how it works is counter-productiveBoomer58cal wrote:I think you need more info on how it works. True. In any case, here's an instructable.

It's not a bad video, it's fairly well put together, but I would certainly lose the music.
Your video is alright, but you probably might want to throw a mention to MrCrowley, who as far as I am aware invented the coaxial in-a-flashlight concept, and to JSR, who made the animation you used on your website, also your instructable could learn a thing or two from MrCrowley's
Finally, I would drop the whole selling it idea, for some reason there's nothing that screams legal liability more than a concealed pengun, especially when a bit of thin steel, unpredictable epoxy and an over zealous pumper are put into the mix.
