watto, yes it means something different over here lol
Salt; yes golf balls shatter/break but they have to be real cold to do so. Had it happen a couple of times when I was stupid enough to be playing in the winter. The ones designed for a long drive are a harder compound and they will split in the cold

No Im the one who stole his tread talking about hunting and what people want for christmas. Golf balls crack? Thats awesome. When I get my gb barrel Im going to see if shooting it at a concrete wall will break it.

Yep. I got most of my stuff. It will sport a 5 foot 2inch chamber and comanado valve (a special valve im making, Lets just say double o-rings and extremely light piston in a 2in tee) and a 7ft golf ball barrel. Im hoping 400 yards at 120 psi. Wishful thinking eh?

seems like everyone is making golf ball guns, me to. Just picked up the peieces today. Helps to have a brother that works at a plumbing supply house. It will have a 4 foot barrel, 32" by 4" chamber and the stock that I am making for it will be out 1 1/4 pipe and will also double as part of the chamber resivoir. Made my barrel today by putting one piesce of 2" into another piece of 2" sch 40 like it shows in the how to section. Did come up with a thing that helps. Once you get the inner piece started put a hose clamp a couple of inches above were it enters the outer barrel and sqeeze it down tight. Makes it a lot easier to get them together. It's a great fit, the golf ball fits real good.

Well a golf ball would go through a cinder block wall. Heck a potato could do it. Really anything hard would go through when using a basic combustion.

a potato. or a metal slug. Any kind of produce, If shot fast enough, will go through a brick. It is funny. the one I shot at was a cinder block, not a clay brick.

Now that ya mention it I could do for a few thousand feet of 1",2",3",4",6",8",10",12" and 24 inch pn18 pvc pipe. And several thousand fittings for all of those. And like 8000 maulers in 6" tees. YAY!
