it just adds pressure, way more pressure, the gauge may shoot up so high when its been combusted together with it... some are idiots

Leeeeshad, I have to correct you - one, you have kicked up a dead topic

Two, the Nitrous oxide is an oxidiser and it's virtue is not cooling the air, it's purpose is to replace it.

On it's own it is non-flammable - but combining it with a inflammable gas, it massively increases the burn rate over air, and potentially allows you to use more fuel.

Say you had a house fire - burning in air, it goes at a certain rate. Using pure oxygen or Nitrous oxide instead of the air, and the flames would be larger and hotter, but the fuel would run out quicker.
Novacastrian: How about use whatever the heck you can get your hands on?
frankrede: Well then I guess it won't matter when you decide to drink bleach because your out of kool-aid.
...I'm sorry, but that made my year.

nitrous does not make it a hotter burn, just powerful, the oxygen fuels the gas and the nitrogen expands creating a pressure but dampening the flame. NITROGEN is not flammable.
