Just finished this today. I havent been able to get any damage pics yet. First modded sprinkler though so thats a plus. My friend and I are haveing a build of that is why I made this gun. He's going down

I used half inch pipre and 3 inch chamber. I used epoxy because my mom doesnt trust me with primer.

Ha, Funny looking design you have there. For the other part of the chamber(not the big tanks) it would look better if you used some bigger dia pipe and it might be more stable. Other then that nice cannon but you used Bell reducers which are DWV 99% of the time.

Oh and any specs on the gun?

Barrel length
Barrel Diameter
Chamber Volume
Chamber Diameter
Ammo
PSI

Edit: Nickel in the tee? Is that the tee thats holding the bi-pod? If so you should of bored(sp?) out the tee so the barrel can fit straight through without cutting the barrel and then re-joining it which will slow down the projectile.

Also did you use primer? I can only see glue stains.

3rd Edit: Your barrel can be HEAPS longer.

They were restoking home depots pvc when i got the reducers so i was rushed. Ammo is marbles AA batteries marshmellows anything that fits 1/2 inch. Why do you want me to do math?

Its my second gun. My mom doesnt trust me with primer yet.

I also didnt like the longer barrel made it to flimsy.

Yes the nickles is in the T conecting with the bipod

Chamber volume is the only one the requires math work and thats why we have calculators. Also making your posts neat and tidy with all the information will help alot of newbies out and stop them digging up old topics or asking basic questions etc. Also I had no idea that was 1/2" pipe till you just told me then.

Your mum doesnt trust you with primer? Why? It probably is poisonous but you have to be really stupid to drink the stuff and if your worried about inhaling it just wear a mask.

Can't you do it outside? Or in a garage? Too cold?

Yeah, your not suppose to use primer OR glue with out proper ventilation, does your basement have windows? If so open two, one on each side of the room, and you all set. Tell your mom that by not using primer your actually making it less safe.

insulated!! INSULATED what does she mean but insulated, you mean ventalated, I think it's more unsafe to not prime your joints than it is to be priming them all day long, your its about as unsafe as your moms makeup remover, cause the main ingredient in both is acetone, I don't think she knows anything about PVC or household chemical

nice gun by the way, not that cost efficent but it still looks cool

Can't believe no one noticed this, but why is your barrel bent at an angle, or do the pictures just make it look that way?
SpudBlaster15, DWV isn't actually that bad, it just has shorter socket depth. But with no primer I'd say it wasn't too smart. DWV NEEDS to have correct solvent welds, or there's too much chance of the chambers being blown off.

nothin like gettin high off of pvc primer and cement fumes....
Ive forgotton to use primer before and ive never had any problems with the gun comeing apart (and in each intsnace of memory lapse, I either super glued, pvc cemented, or epxoyed the peices together.) But keeping the operating pressure low is probabably for the best, cause unlike me, you probably value your life.
