Hey,

I am starting a cannon design team so working all together we can get more advanced cannon, and work together to make sure we are getting maxium performance out of each cannon we make and, if im able to get a design team together in time before the next cannon contest, we will have a better chance of getting the win. Each member will have there own part of each cannon to deisgn so that the final canon can be specialized in every part used. After each member is done with there deisgn of their part of the cannon they will share it with the team to put the cannon together. (we will not be getting together in person just on the net)If people join i will make a forum just for the team on a new site.

If theres anyone out there who wants to be on my cannon design team email me at

or just pm me

Well, the design team could just design a cannon (imagine that) and run calculations in order to ensure peak theoretical performance.

Well,

All members of the team will work together in picking a type of cannon to design (combustion, phunamic,or hybrid). Then once we have chosen the type of cannon then ech member is assainged a job and design there part of the cannon. Once all the dsigns are thrown together, they will only be avialible to the team and either we can all make a cannon for each member of the team (the same cannon just 1 for each member) or we make a single cannon.

So... Everyone would have to live within a reasonable distance wouldn't they?

Oh, and it's pneumatic.

Well, the way it sounds we wouldn't be working in a group per se. We would be a group of people wroking on our own part of the project. Someone would have the combustion chamber and build it as they see fit, so long as it met specifications so it would fit together with the rest of the cannon.

But really, we'd all have to be pretty close for it to be feasible yes?

Yes what paaiyan said was correct but we will not have to live within a close range. We will just be send pics and instructions, or vids to eachother so that each member of the group can make their cannon (so each meber of the group can have there own cannon that the team designed together)

There will be 15-20 members

15-20? Really, how many parts does a cannon have that could require an individual designer? I was thinking like, 5 people. Whatever though. So give us a breakdown of what different parts would be assigned.
