Well I plan on making a new cannon. I'm just not sure what to do.
I have been thinking about either a golfball cannon 3" piston valve with 2" porting, a back pack tank "supersoaker" with built in pump, low pressure nerfgun with onboard homemade pump, or a basketball cannon(boring).
What should I do? I don't want to spend over $200 at the most.
Any other ideas.

A big powerful golfball gun would be cool, especially if you could mount it on something.
If you could make a gun that could shoot a relatively soft projectile through a refridgerator. Make it shoot a baby carrot or a wax slug. I don't know if that could be done, but I want to see it.
Or maybe a rifle that would shoot a supersonic round. Yeah, do that.

I'm weird, I know it, you don't need to tell me.

I'd vote for either the golf ball cannon, or the water gun.
It depends on how many cannons you've got - if you've got enough for now, do the water gun as something new or as an interlude.
If you haven't got enough cannons (but I expect you've got many more than you have high power water guns) then try the golf ball cannon.
Or if you're really bored, try a golf ball vortex machine gun (much more fun than ping pong balls).

frankrede: Well then I guess it won't matter when you decide to drink bleach because your out of kool-aid.
...I'm sorry, but that made my year.

He could modify a small car engine to run as a pump, and power it off another car engine. That would be a project in itself though. Although, with a couple of totalled cars, it wouldn't be too expensive.

Hmm I think I am doing the back pack flamethrower style water gun.
Its summer here in Vegas and I live in a neighborhood so I can't get out and shoot golf balls all the time.

I made a lager "watergun" in my middle school shop class...never suspected a thing. I suppose I would have been in massive trouble had it's true purpose been discovered tho...
