If you want to get that extra 20 or 30 feet out of your pneumatic potatoe cannon then you need a potatoe cutter. A potatoe cutter will cut your potatoes so you don't have to sharpen the tip of your barrel.

Now for the instructions:
First you get a piece of the pipe that you used for your barrel. Then you cut it so that it is about six inches long. Next you sharpen the tip of the barrel with a dremel or grinder so that it is fairly sharp. and that is your potatoe cutter. It lets out the juice and lubricates the barrel with the leftover juice when you shove the potatoe down the barrel. :)

i dont see how it makes it go an extra 20 to 30 feet????? Please explain.

Unless u mean shoving it down some which would deffinatly add some range.

most people just taper the end of their barrel to get the same result

that is what i did on most of my guns but it leaves junk in your barrel and it also leaves too much juice in the barrel and it doesn't let the potatoe get enough pressure behiund it to shoot it as far :)

yep if you just taper the end of the barrel it will leave too much lubrication and it wont build up enough pressure behiund the potatoe to get the maximum range.

i would also get big potatoes and cut them in half and do the same for even better results.

it wouldn't hurt to lubricate your barrel with a little wd 40 either every once in a while. :)

Dear god BIKER180360 there is an edit button, use it.

I don't know if your just trying to gain posts or what, but either way don't ever do anything like that again.
