Hi, when I was a teen I helped my friend make a few spud guns that used hair spray, but they did not work all the well (did not go off most of the time) but when they did it was a lot of fun! anyway, now that I have a full time job and have more then $5 to spend, I want to make a real nice gun. I was thinking of making propane one with a rifled barrel and a fan. where can I get a good rifled barrel and all the rest of the stuff I am going to need?
:violent3:
want to make first spud gun
most of the stuff ou can find at a hardware store (pipe and propane meter stuff) the fan your going to have to get from a computer store the barrel will be hard because im not sure if spud tech is taking orders any more
"Those who are different change the world. Those who are the same keep it that way"
no one has setup a nice list? or a onestop webpage? spud tech is not taking orders.
did anyone buy one of these? http://www.spudgun.com/RIFLEDBARREL.htm

Why do people always start by asking me, i mean just read the first sentence "hi, when i was..." just kidding, only teasing you.
everything to need (except the rifled barrel) is just basic and standard pluming parts. the fan you will need to get at radio shack or some place like that, you just need a brushless computer fan, and do make sure it is a brushless motor. if it isnt a brushless motor it could ignite the fuel before you want to. all you need to do to wire it is just connect the wires to a 9 volt battery and put a switch between one of the wires. then when you are done put it all in a box and mount it on the side. ( of cource, the fan doesnt go on the side, it goes in the chamber.
edit, everyone beat me!
