wow..that is the ammo for me... curently i have to get al lthe scrap in the garbage bin from my metal class... i usually use brass slugs but were done with brass in metal and were goign on to making shat with copper pipes...
4" piston valved cannon-half done..( i spilt my cement...)

thats what i do too. but i have to take a belt sander and sand down the pipe. i use pipe the same size as my barrel. another good one is shaping a dirt clump to the size of your barrel and then freezing it. you can also add a little water.
