Hi all,

i am experiencing problems uploading my new vids to youtube.

i am using Firefox and have a 1.5mps/download 256kbs/upload connection.

i have tried all different formats, have reinstalled windows and still have the same problem.

it shows that its uploading then gets to a certain point and freezes and sh!ts itself.

please help if you know how to.

thanks in advance,

I once had the same problem while trying to upload stuff. It was because my hard drive was corrupt in some places so whenever it tried to read it, it buggered up and reset.

Try:
1.using Firefox safe mode
2.using internet explorer
3.put the video on a flash drive or something then try upload it from there
4.hit the computer a few times
5.if step 4 fails, use another computer
Airbeds... so many different uses

Do you have spyware protection? I use Webroot myself. Could be your modem configuration/settings. Try useing Photobucket. Youtube, Google allways give me problems. I should have ask this 1st -- Is your video size over 100 mb's? Over 5 minutes long? That will cause problems during upload. These sites limit the file size.

LAST WEEK and before: uploaded video without a problem.

this week: problems, i have left it a few days already, still to no success.

edit:

1.4min clip 20mb, hangs after about 30secs-1min.

Try and upload a different file? If that doesnt work:

Since you have done a (clean?) install of windows, and it isnt a server side issue, there must be a problem with your connection. Try resetting your modem to grab a new ip (if you are dynamic). GL mate!

No.

I had a massive amount of trojons, malware, viruses ect on my comp after downloading some updates for a 3party application.

i believe i have the problem sorted but i am yet to try.
i have found that my codec pack could be messing with it all.
