Yea, but we decided that this would probably be more successful. Besides, this will be a hell of a lot more fun to do!

Somewhere in the video link thread theres a link posted to a video that would probly change your mind. it's of a girl sitting in a gaint sling shot, and a couple of guys on a fourwheeler pull her back and...well...they let her go, no she doesn't go flying across the yard, but i would climb in and go for the ride!

Shooting hockey pucks? Why couldn't you just get some Canadian guy to hit it for you?

Hey everyone, we put almost everything together today and its looking pretty nice. Pictures are soon to come. The barrel is at 45 degrees, but since it six feet we're going to add wood supports. Hopefully we'll do this tomorrow. Hopefully we'll start testing next week, and decide on the modifications for the puck... Which we're still taking suggestions on, just keep in mind any modifications have to work in a three inch barrel, and can't involve subtracting anything from the puck. By the way, would it be a good idea to put the puck really close to the end of the barrel to minimize friction?

yes that will help alot.hotrocks wrote:is it okay if i have two air valves on both ends of the chamber...so i can pump twice as fast?
SAC yes you sac now, keeping at the top of the barrel will make it shoot less far if you want less friction lube the puck. drill A 1/2 inch hole in the pucks center and epoxy 6 inches of a 1/2 dowel in there.

were gonna put a paper cup in bottom facing out and then the puck on top so the cup will catch the air and work as a wad.........and were gonna lube the whole barrel up..
If we glued the T and the end piece valves today, is it okay if we test tomorrow...(probably like 15 hours from now)?
